The Scottsdale men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Arizona Western in their season opener tonight at SCC.

The two sides battled in a scoreless first half. Arizona Western opened the scoring in the 61' and later added the final tally in the 82'.

The game saw 10 yellow cards issued, five on each side.

Scottsdale opens conference play next Saturday, September 6 when they host Chandler-Gilbert at 8 p.m.
