The Scottsdale volleyball team fell 3-2 to Glendale tonight at SCC.

Scottsdale's record is now 2-2 overall, 0-1 in the ACCAC.

Glendale took the first set 25-19, finishing the set on an 8-2 run. The Gauchos won the second set in similar fashion, winning nine of the last 12 points for a 25-19 victory and 2-0 lead in the match. The Artichokes would get back into the match with a 25-21 third set win. They held leads of eight points on multiple occasions. The fourth set saw multiple tie scores with SCC evening the match at two sets apiece after a 25-23 win. The Artichokes led 11-9 in the fifth set, but would fall 15-13 after one last Glendale surge.  

Next up for the Artichokes will be a road match at Phoenix College on Wednesday, September 10 at 7 p.m.
