The Scottsdale volleyball program won 3-1 over Phoenix tonight on the campus of PC.

The win evened the Artichokes' conference record at 1-1 and moved them to 3-2 overall.

SCC took a took a tight opening set 25-23. The Bears answered with another close set, winning 26-24. The Artichokes grabbed the momentum from there to win the next two sets 25-19 and 25-17.

Anissa El-Ali registered 17 kills, while Tanner Robinson added 15. Ella Petcu had 34 digs.

Next up is a meeting with South Mountain on Friday, September 12. The match will begin at 7 p.m. The Artichokes swept the Cougars in a non-conference match last week.
