The Scottsdale volleyball team defeated South Mountain for the second time this season, winning 3-0 tonight at SCC.

Scottsdale is now 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

South Mountain got out to a quick start in the opening set, taking an 11-4 lead. With the score knotted at 21, the Artichokes would win the next four points to take the set 25-21. It was all SCC in the second set, taking it 25-11. Scottsdale never trailed in the third set, winning 25-14.

The Artichokes will be off until Friday, September 19 when they will travel to Tucson to play Pima. The match will begin at 7 p.m. SCC defeated Pima 3-0 earlier this season in a non-conference match.
