#11 Phoenix Slips Past #4 Women's Soccer
The #4 Scottsdale women's soccer team fell 1-0 to #11 Phoenix College on Saturday night at PC.
The loss drops the Artichokes to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.
Scottsdale outshot Phoenix 10-6 and 6-3 on shots on goal. The Bears would convert a chance in the 40th minute, which proved to be enough to secure the win.
Kaylee Vasiloff made two saves for the Artichokes.
Scottsdale returns to action on Tuesday, September 16 when they will host Gateway at 5:45 p.m. Gateway is 0-3 to start the conference season and yet to score their first goal.
