The Scottsdale men's soccer team put together a complete match in a 9-1 win over Gateway tonight at SCC.

Scottsdale is now 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the league.

Scottsdale scored three goals in three minutes in the opening 16 minutes of the match in route to the eight-goal win.  Liam O'Dell had a brace for SCC, while Dylan Nevarez had a goal and two assists. Landon Johnson made six saves for the Artichokes.

SCC registered 30 shots, compared to nine for the Geckos.

Scottsdale returns to action on Saturday, September 20 when they travel to face Glendale at 7:30 p.m. The Gauchos are 2-1-1 in conference this season and are coming off a hard-fought 2-0 loss at Pima tonight.
