The #7 Scottsdale women's soccer team cruised to a 10-2 win over Paradise Valley tonight at SCC.

The win moves the Artichokes to 6-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the ACCAC. With the halfway mark of the conference season reached, Scottsdale sits in third with 16 points. #6 Phoenix is in first with 19 points. #8 Pima is second with 18 points. The top two finishing sides will host the semifinal round of the Region 1 playoffs.

Samantha Battles netted three goals to lead SCC. Sydney Delaney and Luisa McIntosh each had two.

SCC outshot PV 38-11.

Next up the return legs of the schedule begin with a trip to Chandler-Gilbert on Saturday, October 4. The match will begin at 5:45 p.m. The Artichokes beat the Coyotes 8-0 in their first meeting.
