Scottsdale closes out 2025 on a high note
The Scottsdale women's basketball team closed out 2025 with a dominate 93-34 win over visiting Yakima Valley.
The win improves the Artichokes to 8-4 overall. They have now won four straight.
The game was never in doubt as the Artichokes led 27-8 after one and 48-12 at the half.
Scottsdale shot 43.5% from the floor and held Yakima to 20.3%. SCC held a 58-34 advantage on the glass. They also had 24 steals and forced 33 turnovers.
Saige Miller had 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting. She also grabbed eight rebounds. Dianalynn Howell had 11 points and had five rebounds.
The Artichokes are now off until January 3 when they will host Central Arizona at 2 p.m. Central defeated SCC 67-63 earlier this season.
