The Scottsdale men's basketball team dropped an 85-75 decision to South Mountain today at SMCC.

SCC drops to 11-11 overall and 5-6 in the conference. They remain in a tie for fourth in the conference standings. The top four schools will advance to the Region I playoffs.

McCade Peterson had 16 points to pace the Artichokes. Quincy Kirk added 10 points and six rebounds.

Up next is a trip to Glendale to face the Gauchos on Wednesday, February 4. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. GCC beat SCC in the first meeting between the two earlier this season.
