Pima (32-0) came out strong early, using a fast 20-2 start and pressure defense to build momentum in the opening half. The Artichokes struggled to find their rhythm offensively and trailed 37-19 at the half. Pima grew their lead to as many as 27 in the second half.
Davion Harris finished with a team-high 10 points for SCC. Quincy Kirk added eight points and pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds, while McCade Peterson and Tylan Holleman each contributed eight points. Coleman Fields provided a boost off the bench with nine points and six rebounds.
SCC shot 32.1% for the game, while the Aztecs shot 46.7%. Pima narrowly held a 38-36 advantage on the glass.
Scottsdale closes out a remarkable season under first-year coach Zac Harrison with a 17-14 record. The Artichokes returned to the Region Final for the first time since 2023. The 17 wins were seven more than the team had in 2024 and five more than 2023.
