Scottsdale softball swept Paradise Valley on the road.

SCC improved to 19-20 overall and 15-17 in the ACCAC.

Game 1: Scottsdale 15 Paradise Valley 6

After falling behind 4–2 in the first inning, Scottsdale quickly took control. A three-run fourth gave the Artichokes the lead for good, and a six-run fifth inning broke the game open. They added insurance runs in both the sixth and seventh to seal the win.

Jacee Larson led the offensive explosion with a perfect 5-for-5 day, scoring four runs and driving in two. Alma Teilon delivered the biggest blow, launching a home run and finishing with four RBIs. Elia Palencia added four hits, while Elena Esquivel drove in two as part of Scottsdale's 20-hit attack.

Kailyn Montoya (9-5) went the distance to earn the win, striking out eight over 7.0 innings while allowing six runs—just two earned.

Game 2: Scottsdale 12 Paradise Valley 0 (5)

The Artichokes set the tone immediately with five runs in the first inning, then kept the pressure on with two more in the second and four in the third to build an 11–0 lead. A run in the fourth capped the scoring.

Bella Gomez powered the lineup with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, including a home run and three runs scored. Jazmyn Martinez and Hailey Estrella each drove in three runs, while Alexandria Armstrong added a triple and two RBIs. Elena Esquivel chipped in with two hits and two RBIs as part of Scottsdale's 13-hit effort.

Tyler Gordanier (7-11) delivered a strong outing, tossing 5.0 shutout innings while allowing five hits and striking out four to secure the win.

SCC will next travel to Mesa on Tuesday, April 14. That doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m.
