Halle Payne Picks Up ACCAC Player of the Week
The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team had one of their team members earn the season's first player of the week award.
Division II - Halle Payne - Scottsdale - Scored 16 points and added eight rebounds as SCC won its season opener. The freshman from Bloomfield, Minn., and Bloomfield H.S., also had four steals and a blocked shot.
Scottsdale will be back in action this weekend as they take on GCU-Club on Friday at Phoenix College. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 1:00 PM.
