The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team is off to a great start this year as a team and individually. Elysia Fleetwood was named this weeks ACCAC Player of the Week for the Fighting Artichokes. 

Division II – Elysia Fleetwood - Scottsdale – In three SCC wins the graduate of Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, AZ, averaged 14.7 points while going 17-32 (.571) from the floor. She was also 6-14 (.429) on three-pointers. She added a total of 18 rebounds, 14 assists, nine steals and a block. She is a freshman.

Scottsdale will be back in action tonight as they host Chandler-Gilbert Community College at 5:30 PM.
