The Scottsdale Community College Women's Basketball team was back in action for the first time since November 23rd due to Covid-19 delays and postponements. SCC came out to a rusty start, but battled the entire first half and was down 41-29. EAC got hot in the 3rd quarter and stretched their lead to 76-33. Scottsdale would continue to fight, but could not make much of a dent in the deficit and eventually lost by the final score of 89-59. Scottsdale was led by Elysia Fleetwood who finished the game with 17 points. Halle Payne finished with 11 points, while Ashten Martinez finshed with 9. This is the first loss of the season for the Artichokes as they move to 7-1, (2-1) on the year. Scottsdale will be back in action after Christmas as they play three neutral site games over at Phoenix College on December 28th-30th.
